The memory of Vicki Burden of Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Negus and Ida Negus Butler (Hayze); and her stepson Robert Pye Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Pye; her children, Clay Burden and Jesse Burden; her stepdaughters, Janice Coates (Rodney Mills) and Louise Pye (Leon White); her stepdaughter-in-law Shannon Pye; her granddaughter Kinsley; her siblings, Debbie Negus and Tom Negus; her close friend Bernadette McGraw; and her niece Cindy Berry. She is also survived by 9 step grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4).
