He was predeceased by: his parents, John Porter and Dorothy Porter (Meekins). He is survived by: his nephew Josh; his siblings, Evelyn Simon (Wilfred) of Bouctouche, NB and John Porter (Vicki) of Collingwood, NS; and his cousins, Mark, Joey and Paul Farnell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews.
