He was predeceased by: his parents, John Porter and Dorothy Porter (Meekins). He is survived by: his nephew Josh; his siblings, Evelyn Simon (Wilfred) of Bouctouche, NB and John Porter (Vicki) of Collingwood, NS; and his cousins, Mark, Joey and Paul Farnell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium (5075 Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
