It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rena Jane Hicks in St Peters, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 3, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rena Jane Hicks to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Gunning and Lottie Gunning (Burge); her son Dale (Caroline); her granddaughter Ashley; and her siblings, Russell, Wendell, Winnie (Sewell) and Anna (Molyneaux).
She is survived by: her husband Jack Hicks; her children, Jane Anne (Mike), Clinton (Donna), Tim (Barb) and Wade (Karen); and her grandchildren, Meghanne, Adam, Alyson, Katelyn, Taylor, Rebecca, Shannon and Rachael.
There will be a small funeral held in St. Peter's United Church, Monday, December 7th for the family and COVID-19 19 protocols will be followed, seating will be limited.
Donations in memory of Rena may be made to the Richmond Villa Fund, Alzheimer's Society, or a charity of choice.
