He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Watson and Catherine Watson (Lannigan); his wife Jackie; and his siblings, Ted and Joanne.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie Stewart (Doug) and Jason; his grandchildren, Laura (Jonathan), Sarah (JJ), Kyle (Chels), Amber (Jeremy) and Ashley (Jason); his sisters, Linda (Mike), Roberta (Gerry), Anita and Catherine; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Matthew, Gail and Mike. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (140 MacKay St, Stellarton, NS B0K1S0). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (73 High St, Trenton, NS B0K1X0).
