She was predeceased by: her husband John Fred MacKenzie; and her son Earl Arthur MacKenzie (Sudbury). She is survived by: her sons, Frederick (Karen) and Ian (Claire); her grandchildren, Benjamin and Carley; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia MacKenzie (Sudbury). She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hc MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel (18 Acadia Ave, Stellarton, NS B0K0A2). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon St. John United Church (Stellarton) (33 Acadia Ave, Stellarton, NS B0K0A2).
