Donald Mason Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Donald Mason of Stellarton, Nova Scotia, born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Donald and Margaret Francis Mason (MacDonald); and his sister-in-law Marlene Mason. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Cecilia "Dot" (Chabassol); his children, Lawrence Mason, Michelle Mason, Sondra Mason (Salt Springs) and Deborah MacKeeman (Trenton); his grandchildren, Mark, Cody, Aaron, Katelyn, Jessica and Adrianna; and his siblings, Ronald Mason, Colleen Heighton (John), Marsha Walker (Ben), Winnipeg and Man. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

If desired, donations may be made in memory of Don to Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education (NNEC Tutoring), Attention: Finance Department, 60 Lorne Street, Truro, NS B2N 3K3.

Glenda lamey lit a candle

“Dear Dot and family We only heard of Donnie’s passing at Mass yesterday as we had been away. My heart aches for the loss you will be feeling. I thought the world of Donnie and have often remarked on all his kindnesses to me when I went to Trenton High. I felt like such a novice and he was always there to support and help me along. He will be sorely missed by many people. He was one of God’s best. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers ! With love from Glenda and Leo”
