He was predeceased by : his parents, Spyros Kouyas and Aggeliki Kouyas (Antonopolous); and his siblings, Argiri Kouyas, Stavros Cougias, Panagiotis Kouyas, Demetre Kouyas (Jim), Alice Xiros (Kouyas) and Georgia Pyrovolos (Kouyas).
He is survived by : his significant other Dina; his children, Angela Proestos (Con), Spyro Kouyas, Yota Gerrior (Craig), Granton and Maria Walsh (Jason); and his grandsons, Leonidas, George, Lucas, Michael and Nathan. He is also survived by His wife, son, daughters, and close friends.
