He was predeceased by : his parents, Irene Martin (Moffatt) and Earl Martin; his brother Ernie; his sisters-in-law, Theresa Martin and Kathryn Skoke Fortin; and his nieces, Kateri Skoke, Pamela and Amanda Mayich.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret (Skoke); his children, Johnna MacKenzie (Ross), Alexka Mason (Kevin), Marla Fitt (Trevor), Joseph Martin (Tammy), Monica McArthur (Tom) and Therese Dee (Steven); his siblings, Earla Mayich (Stan), Owen (Carol) and Cecil (Kenda); his parents-in-law, Alex and Betty Skoke; and his siblings-in-law, Roseanne Skoke, Veronica MacFarlane (Chris), Violet Little (Robert), Elizabeth Coleman (Bill), Patty Skoke, Pacelli Skoke, Alex Skoke and Paul Fortin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
