Lois Katherine Gillis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 95, Lois Katherine Gillis (Stellarton, Nova Scotia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Katherine Gillis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Kellock and Margaret Kellock (MacKenzie); her husband John; her sons, Sandy, Philip and Mark; and her siblings, Norval, Earle, Roy, Irving, Scott, Herdman, Gordon, Erma, Ione, Peggy, Jean, Maxine and Marlene.
She is survived by: her children, Peter (Andrew), Lisa (Jim Jordan), David, Irving, Ian (Kathy) and Allan (Tracy); and her siblings, Viola Ross and Sandy (Dianne). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. W. Angus Funeral Home (256 King St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4X8). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Anglican Church (34 Bridge Ave, Stellarton, NS B0K0A2).
Donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Palliative Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital or to the Pictou County SPCA.
