She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald Darroch; and her parents, Hannah Bella (Miller) and Robert Hebert Sager. She is survived by: her children, Linda MacLeod of Halifax, Alice (MacLeod-Newbery) of Halifax and John Darroch (Jack); her daughter-in-law Tena Darroch of Ontario; her grandchildren, Scott Newbery, Nicholas Newbery, Jean Darroch and Michelle Darroch; her nieces and nephews, Donnie Campbell, Steve Sager, Margie MacGillivrary (Campbell) and Kathleen Wainwright; her siblings, Gertrude Campbell (Sager), Montaque Sager and Sunny Sager; and her nephews, Edward Campbell and Mike Sager.
