He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Douglas Charles MacLeod and Anna Veronica MacLeod (Kowalski); and his brother Dougie MacLeod (Dolly). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Glenn (Sue) of Pictou Landing, Brian (Angela) of Truro and Gary (Michele) of Pictou; his sister Karen Megeney (Dexter) of Stellarton; and his grandchildren, Jylian, Amy, Lindsay, Jordan, Connor, Cole, Haileigh and Hannah. He is also survived by his family, including his parents, grandparents, cousins, a nephew and brother.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. W. Angus Funeral Home (256 King St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4X8). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church (112 N Foord St, New Glasgow, NS B2H5G7). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
