He was predeceased by : his parents, Ian MacKenzie and Violet MacKenzie of Stellarton; his wife Liz MacKenzie; his uncles, Boyd MacKenzie and Wendell MacKenzie; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Clark, Ken MacArthur, Alvin Clark, Lewie Clark, James Munroe, Albert Clark, Hughie Langille, Shirley Clark and Catherine Goodall.
He is survived by : his daughters, Michelle MacKenzie (Donald) of Hopewell and Patti MacKenzie Martin (Tim) of Brookside; his grandchildren, Meghan MacKenzie, Donald MacKenzie (Tiffany), Keegan Martin and Hayden Martin; his great grandchildren, Allison, Thomas Bradley and Eilidh MacKenzie; his aunt Iola MacKenzie; his cousins, Murray MacKenzie, River John, Karen Mouris and Gordon MacDonald; his sisters-in-law, Margaret MacArthur, Mary Clark, Beatrice Munroe, Martha Farquhar and Marie Langille; his cousins, Leona, Jaunita, Janice, Phyllis and Teresa of Ontario; and his pets, Clydesdale, Kelly and Dusty.
