It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon McPherson of Stellarton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon McPherson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Angus "Gus" and Laura Ruth MacDonald (MacGillivray); her nephew William Burke; and her brother-in-law Jack MacAloney. She is survived by : her husband John W. "Duggie" McPherson Sr.; her children, Jane E. MacDonald (Linacy), Richard D. "Ritchie" McPherson (Alta), Michael A. McPherson (Jocelyn), Brian C. McPherson, LCol (John W. "Duggie" McPherson Jr.) and Cambridge; her grandchildren, Noah, Leah, Jack, Claire, Robert, Christopher, Jennifer and Ches; her nephews, David, Steven and Adam Burke; and her sisters-in-law, Mary "Mamie" MacAloney and Diane McPherson. She is also survived by several aunts and cousins.

If desired, donations may be made in Sharon's memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
