“I remember when Ron and his cousins arrived on their motorbikes in Youbou in the early 1950's. I was 5 years old. My Dad was so impressed with the 'boys from Nova Scotia', he helped them get jobs at the sawmill here. Was a very big company back in the day. They were at many Sunday Dinners at our house. Ron eventually went back to N.S. on his motorcycle and took one of my sisters with him. I was fortunate to live with them for a time & met & married my husband. Ron was always kind and thoughtful.”
