Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernice Phyllis Ross of Stoney Island, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 98, on May 30, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Crowell Nickerson and Evelyn Nickerson (Brown); her husband Malcolm; her siblings, Regina Atwood, William and Lester; and her sons-in-law, Terry Newell and Donald Adams.

She is survived by: her children, Velma, Carolyn, Trueman (Sheila) and Robert (Louanne); and her granddaughter Norma Darrell (Pierrie Boisjoly). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
