With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Spencer of Summerville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 17, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Spencer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Benedict and Myrtle Alice Benedict (Sanford); and her brothers, Delbert, Wilbert, Stephen and Ronald Benedict.

She is survived by : her husband Ronald Spencer; her children, Gary Spencer, Michael Spencer (Bonnie), Jeffrey Spencer (Claire), Darlene Rourke (Peter), Monica Johnson (Fred) and Lynette Wile (Brian); and her siblings, Marguerite Wile (Harold), Doris Lunn, Juanita Grimes (Donnie) and Wayne Benedict. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Phyllis can be made to a charity of one's choice.
