Ann Buchanan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Buchanan (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Hatcher and Annie Hatcher (Witherall). She is survived by: her husband John Buchanan; her children, Jeffrey Buchanan (Kirsten) of Big Beach, NS and Trina Buchanan of Sydney, NS; her granddaughters, Brittany, Faith and Julianna; and her siblings, Elsie (Ken), Helen (Don) and John (Nadine). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
