It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Howard (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Sutherland and Annie Sutherland (Matheson); her husband Ernie Howard; her children, Shirley and Paul; and her siblings, Agnes, Isobel, Jeannie, Patty, Yvonne, Anna, Alexander and Arthur.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Murphy (Stephen Murphy); her granddaughters, Jennifer Murphy (Allyn Coles) and Katelyn Wickens (Jonathan Wickens); her great grandchildren, Ella Coles and Willow Coles; her son-in-law Keith Fitzgerald; her grandsons, Andrew and Stephen Fitzgerald; and her brother Leonard Sutherland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
