He is survived by: his father William "Bill" Pye; his children, Cape Breton Coal Miner, Devco, Princess, Prince and Lingan; his wife Francis Pye (Shinners); his children, Ron (Wanda), Howie (Darlene), Rick (Barb), Derek (Helen), Vernon (Cathy), Angela (Scott) and Adele (Frankie); his grandchildren, Brett (Rene), Stephen (Natasha), Matthew, Jeff (Sarah), Jessica, Sara (Adam), Samantha (Aaron), Jonathan (Kaitlyn), Christopher (Emma), Michael, Jennifer, Jack, Kylie, Nathan (Chelsea) and Ryan (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Bryson, Sophia, Emily, Gavin, Ayden, Aria, Benjamin, Naomi, Henry, Theo, Liam and Breagh; his siblings, Bill (Nell), Johnny (Vee), Bobby (Jim) and Wilma (Fred); his sisters-in-law, Linda Pye, Yvonne Struthers (ON), Ellen Cullen (BC), Angela Guy and Georgie Cogan; his siblings, Neil and Judy; his niece Sandy Pye; his nephews, Kevin Parks and Bradley Pye; his siblings-in-law, David Guy, Jim Cogan, Alvin Higgins, Stan Struthers, Sonny Cullen, Vernon Geddes, Doug Francis, Hughie Parks, Mona Geddes, Lorraine Francis and Rose McInnis; and his children, Sue, Jasmine and Joel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
