It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlotte Walsh (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Florence, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her significant other Philip Walsh; her parents, Simon Rasmussen and Sarah Rasmussen (Jessome); her children, Philip, Mary and Simon Percy; her great grandchild Logan LeBlanc; and her siblings, Harold, Joe, Percy, Mary, Ann, Genny, Theresa, Viola and Thelma.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie (Dan Devoe) and Wayne (Darlene Carey); her siblings, Louis, Stephen Rasmussen (Mary) and Sylvia Porter (Chuck); and her friend Josephine Clarke. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family asks that any donations in Lottie's memory be made to the Veteran's Unit at Harbour View Hospital through the Northside Hospital Foundation (https://www.canadahelps.org) or to a charity of one's choice.
