She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tupper Boyde and Lena Boyde (Young); her siblings, Marie Boyde, Henrietta Horne, Mary Bonner, Anastasia MacNamara, Betty Stewart, Lorraine Burton, Pearl Miles, Dan and Ronald Boyde; her children, Linda Podetz and Gerald Crews; her grandchildren, Dion Demarco and Sherry Bond; and her great grandchild Dylan McWhirter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Bond (George), Kathy Robinson (Dale) and Wendy Bailey (Sheldon); her son-in-law John Podetz; her sister Beverly Robin; her grandchildren, Troy Podetz (Vicki), Dawn Hardy (Dan), Nick Demarco (Angela), Jeff Bailey (Kathleen), Chris McGean (Jen), Ryan Bond (Roslyn) and Cory Bailey; her grandson-in-law Chris Stockley; and her husband Gerald. She is also survived by her 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish Hall (9 MacKay St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V1R5). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
