He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo MacQuarrie and Edith MacQuarrie (Henneberry); his daughter Catherine; his brother-in-law Lewis Woods; and his sister Roberta.

He is survived by : his spouse Shirley Anne (O'Toole); his grandchildren, Grampy, Mike, Jamie and Sean; his brothers, Blaise and Gerry; and his sister-in-law Marjorie O'Toole. He is also survived by his good friends.

Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
