He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Forrest and Edith Forrest (Wareham); his daughter Deneice; his siblings, Willis "Bill", Peter, George, Alexander, Edward, Della, Agnes, Elizabeth, Mary and Edith; his son-in-law Angus Keagan; his grandsons, Trevor and Paul Ronald; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Talia.
He is survived by: his wife Florence (Gardiner); his children, David (Eileen), Paul (Lori), Don (Laurie), Travis (Laurie), Nathan (Jennifer), Doreen Keagan, Deneene (Roger), Michelle (Troy) and Joeliene Jessome (Duane); his siblings, Charles "Bud" and Linda Bradley; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Kay Forrest; and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
