With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Jane Gracie of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, born in Florence, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on March 24, 2026 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Gracie; her children, Janice and Eric; her grandson Thomas; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Justin and Timmy; and her sisters, Shirley Tobin (Bernie), Helen Gerrow (Dodi), Annie MacDonald (John), Barbara McLean (Richard), Naomi Imrie and Veronica Imrie.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Todd (Tom), Richard Gracie (Linda), Barbara Gracie, Tom Gracie, Ann Douglas and Kevin Gracie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Northside General Hospital.
