Elizabeth Simpson Obituary

In loving memory of Elizabeth Simpson (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), who departed this world on March 6, 2026 at the age of 83. Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dunne and Annie Dunne (O'Neill); her husband William Simpson; her siblings, Leo Dunne and Joan Power; and her niece Juanita Dunne.

She is survived by: her children, William Simpson (Denise) and Bobbi Power (Mike); her brother David Dunne (Betty); her granddaughters, Danielle Simpson and Natasha Power; and her great grandchildren, Jasper, Ember, Killian, Octavian, Arlo, Nevaeh, Charleigh and Aria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Veterans' Wing at Harbourview Hospital or the Haley Street Society.
