It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Thurbide (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), born in Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Thurbide and Margaret Thurbide (Ghetto); and his siblings, Agnes, Benny, Joe, Barbara, Anthony, Lorne and Alex.

He is survived by : his siblings, Steve (Colleen), Brian, Sydney Mines, Donald Cole Harbour (Bev), Bernice Gillis, Carlie MacNeil, Linda Gillis (Warren), Millville and Richard Finney; and his friends, Brian White and Brian Cantwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
