With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lori Ryan (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lori Ryan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Marie (Norman) and George Hyde (Sonny). She is survived by: her significant other Bob; her daughter Jessie Marie; her son-in-law Darren Snow; her grandsons, Hayden and Avery; her siblings, Judy DiPersio (Henry) and Bill (Rose); her mother-in-law Mary Ryan; and her siblings-in-law, John Ryan, Denis Astephen, Wilda Hyde (Cantwell) and Judy Hyde (Carmichael). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4).
In lieu of flowers, Lori would be thrilled to see support for Crohn's and Colitis Canada or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
