She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael MacKinnon and Sophia MacKinnon (Griffen); her husband Charles; her daughter Joanne Porter; her grandson Colin Porter; and her siblings, Jenny, Theresa, Kathleen, Martha, Patsy, Mary Agnes, Danny, Billy and Lilly.
She is survived by: her children, David Julian (Kathy), John Julian (Darlene), Moira Hines (Howard), Cathy Julian, Mary Carmichael and Michelle Moore (Fred). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
