Nicholas William Douglas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas William Douglas of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, born in Barrie, Ontario, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Wayne Sederquest; his grandmothers, Alice Sederquest and Betty Anthis; and his uncles, William, Bobby, Russell, Hayes Sederquest and Leo Robinson.

He is survived by : his mother Kim Pye; his stepfather Freddy; his son Yurik Simpson of Thunder Bay; his sisters, Shelly Anthis and Diane Briggs; his nephews, Robert (Natalie) and Luke; his niece Zoe; his great-nephew Oliver; his uncle Nick; and his friends, Steven, Adam, Ryan Kenneth and Troy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks if you'd like to please make a donation to a charity of your choice or look towards good deeds in memory of our beloved Son, Dad, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Uncle and dear friend, Nick Sederquest.
