With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wes Burchell of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 13, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harris Burchell and Ruth Burchell (Gillis); his wife Sheila; and his sister Gwen. He is survived by : his son Paul (Alice) of Beaver Bank; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Lee) and Robert (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Hayden and Gavin; and his brothers, David (Patty), Wayne (Alice) and Lorn (Ethel). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and all of his extended family.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions an outdoor service will be held in Sydney Mines in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
