Yvonne White Obituary
We bid farewell to Yvonne White (Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Yvonne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. MacDonald and Lillian MacDonald; her husband Reg White; her siblings, Keith, Kenny, Johnny, Bruce, Shirley and Betty; and her daughter-in-law Theresa White.
She is survived by: her children, David (Cathy), Debbie (Danny MacNeil), Brenda (Gerald Fudge), Darlene (Robert Snow), Clifford, Susan (Gary Hass) and Nicole White (Leon); her siblings, Lillian and Wayne; and her granddaughter Leah Snow. She is also survived by grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. M. Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's United Church (1414 Old Rte 5, Big Bras d'Or, NS B1X1C1). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brookside Cemetery (1035 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2M6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Yvonne's memory may be made to St. John's United Church or a charity of your choice.
