Alfie MacLeod Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfie MacLeod (Sydney River, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfie MacLeod to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred MacLeod and Elizabeth MacLeod (Kennedy); his brothers, Richard and Blair; his father-in-law Allister MacDonald; and his stepfather Jack Skinner.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (MacDonald); his children, Sandra Linklater (Solomon) of Howie Centre, Jessica Stonehouse (Joe) of Howie Centre, Daniel MacLeod (Amber) and Kim Collins; his grandchildren, Cameron Collins, Logan, Keigan, Emma, Nolan, Rylee and Lauchie; his sister Valerie MacIntosh (Steve); his mother-in-law Pearl MacDonald; and his sister-in-law Susan Charbonneau (Rick). He is also survived by niece and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1452 Kings Rd, Sydney River, NS B1S1E6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Horizon Achievement Centre or the Two Rivers Wildlife Park.
