“I was sorry to hear of Johns passing. I had first met John when he opened the shop in Sydney River . I was just a kid and was a little intimidated by him but as the years passed we became friends .Every time i would return to the river we would get together and he would bring me up to date on all the gossip and sometimes we would have a cocktail and tell stories .I will truly miss those encounters . I will toast his memory . Condolences to the family. Dave Williams”
