Alice May (Richards) Evans Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2025, Alice May (Richards) Evans in Sydney, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richards and Muriam Richards; her husband Jack Evans (John); her sisters, Edith Collins (Harold) of Sydney, Anne Smith (George), Kay Halfyard (Harold) and Elizabeth Freake (Lloyd); her sons, Paul Evans (Kim) of Alberta and Wayne Evans (Joanne) of Sambro Head; and her grandson Stephen Evans of Calgary.
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Battler (Reg) of Ontario; her sister-in-law Helen Evans (George) of St. John's, Newfoundland; her nephew Kenny Evans (Betty) of Sydney; her niece Patti Davidson (Allan); and her grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Tammy, Cam and Lydia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Alban's Anglican Church (15 St Albans Ave, Sydney, NS B1N2T8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any gestures of sympathy be directed towards the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's (PEI) or Cape Breton Regional Hospital's Cancer Treatment Centres.
