The passing of Andrea Prossin (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in South Bar, Nova Scotia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 18, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her mother Frances Mombourquette (Ongo); her husband Dr. Albert "Albie" Prossin; her siblings-in-law, Rita Aronson (Hy), Molly Mallman (Don), San Diego and Benjamin "Benny" Prossin; and her parents-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" Prossin (Blackman) and Samuel "Sam" Prossin.
She is survived by : her children, Anneliese'Lisa" Fiala (Martin "Marty"), Tennessee, Aviva MacKenzie (Jean-Marc), Adam, Andrew (Kate), Alan and Houston; her grandchildren, Austin Fiala, Taylor MacKenzie, Connor MacKenzie, Hannah Prossin, Marina Prossin, Jonah Prossin and Ari "AJ" Prossin; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Brown (Irving). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hebrew Cemetery.
If you want to make a donation in Andrea and/or Albie's memory then the family would suggest donating to "Christmas Daddies" or to plant a tree in Israel in their names through the Jewish National Fund of Canada, which were both charities that they supported during their lifetimes.
