He is survived by: his significant other Sonya; his children, Kyle (Ashley) of Hinton, AB, Kaitlyn (Johnny) and Sydney; his brothers, Blair (Kamy) and Doug (Tracey); his nieces and nephews, Dawson, Tori, Logan, Landen, Elizabeth, Emily and Annalese; his parents-in-law, Brad Skinner and Michelle Skinner; and his siblings-in-law, Brad (Tracey) and Rhonda.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gus may be made to local animal charities or helping people in need.
