She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Geldart and Elizabeth "Bessie" MacLeod; her adoptive parents, Jack MacPhail and Katie MacPhail; her husband Clarence Long; her siblings, Maye, Barbara, Betty, Ewen and Robert; and her siblings-in-law, Edie, Muriel, Sadie, Katherine, Ann, Alex, Kilmer, Harry, Jack, Taylor, Len, Walter and Lorne.
She is survived by: her children, Keith (Peggy) of Whitby and Pauline (Lenard) of Baddeck; her grandchildren, Matthew (Amy), Rachel (Darren), Amanda (Gavin) and Krista (Justin); her great grandchildren, Hunter and Landon; and her sisters-in-law, Blanche and Sharon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
