The memory of Anne Marie Dwyer (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 24, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Ann "Anna" and Ron MacNeil; her brother Joseph; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Samson, Margaret-Ann Dwyer, Allan Dwyer, Gerald Dwyer, David Samson and Jim MacPhee; and her niece Danielle Hart.
She is survived by: her husband Brian; her children, Suzanne, Mark (Kathleen) and Sean (Erin); her grandson Grayson; her siblings, Margaret Mary MacPhee, Ron (Marion) and Peter; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Samson (Andrew), Valerie Oehmen (Howard), Ruth Dwyer, Doris Dwyer and Ron Dwyer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Horizon Achievement Centre or to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
