Annie Morrison Obituary
We announce the death of Annie Morrison (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Framboise, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 88. Annie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman MacLeod and Margaret MacLeod; her husband Roderick "Wilrod" Morrison; her siblings, Christine (John Neil), Archie (Peggy) and George; and her in-laws, Donald (Lollie) and Archie (Merle).
She is survived by: her children, Kim MacLaughlin (Daniel) of Porter's Lake, Brian (Marlene), Sydney, Brent (Sandy), Bruce (Karen) of Cambridge, ON and Bradley of Porter's Lake; her brother Allister (Joan); her sister-in-law Winnie MacLeod; her grandchildren, Ryan (Julie), Jordon, Annelise (Gordie), Kaitlyn (Mar), Bryden (Dan), Bryce, Krystle (Justin), Jessica (Joey), Cody (Kassi), Callie (Cole), Daniel and Sidney; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Emmayln, Jorja, Jordyn, Beau, Blake, Lennon, Hendrix, Ayah and Malek.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church (9 Brookland St, Sydney, NS B1P5B1).
Memorials may be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit or Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
