He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Carmichael of Victoria County and Margaret MacPhee Carmichael of Islandview; and his siblings, Bernie Carmichael (Louise), Elmer Carmichael (Charlene), Roddy Carmichael (Connie), Marie Cameron (Palmer), Flo Johnston (Willie), Dena Johnston (Donald) and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Carmichael, Charlotte Carmichael (Cliff Talbot), Gerald Carmichael (Zoe) and Robert Carmichael (Melissa MacDonald); the mother of his children Charmaine Carmichael (Fred Wall); his grandchildren, Malcolm, Maggie, Vivian and Jackie; and his sisters, Carol MacLellan (Danny) and Phyllis Youden (late Ron). He is also survived by his family and his dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ashby Legion. A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
