With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Bachynsky of Sydney, Nova Scotia, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on November 5, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Bohdan Bachynsky of Joseph's Healthcare Centre; her siblings, Mary Tomasello, Jessie Berladyn, Ann Hill, Walter and William Berladyn; and her parents, Theodore Berladyn and Paraskeva Berladyn.

She is survived by : her children, Theodore Bachynsky (Samantha Harvey) of Victoria, BC, Ivan Bachynsky (Jennifer) of Saint John, NB and MairiAnna Bachynsky (Jim Evangelou) of Toronto, ON.; and her grandchildren, Alexander, Indiana Bachynsky, Andrew, William, Matthew Bachynsky, Alexia and Roman Evangelou.
