It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Levatte Dedrick (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney River, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Donnie (Dookie), Charlie, Harry (Eileen), Billy (Teasie) and Catherine MacIntosh (John F.).

She is survived by: her husband Kevin Marshall; her grandson Johnathan Dedrick; her friend Marley; her sons, Michael Dedrick (Tanya Radu) and Robert Dedrick; her grandchildren, Michael, Kenneth, Ryan and Sarah; her sister Tootsie LeVatte; her sister-in-law Elizabeth LeVatte; and her cousin Pearl MacKeigan. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in memory of Betty can be made to the Cancer Patient Fund or the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
