Brenda McLean Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda McLean (Sydney, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Brenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Collier and Rita Collier (MacKenzie); her brother Angus; and her brother-in-law John MacNeil (Theresa). She is survived by: her son Jason McLean (Ann, family: Sydney); her siblings, Theresa MacNeil (Sydney) and Jimi Collier (Claire); and her friends, Roberta Steele and Donna Hiltz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
