Carl Hilton Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Hilton Smith of Sydney, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Smith and Olga Smith (Phillips); and his girlfriend Diane Richardson. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Rosebrugh (Isaac); his grandchildren, William and Faith Rosebrugh; his son Kevin Smith; his close friend Alicemarie Whalen; and his siblings, Ron (Yvonne), Laurence (Karen) and Cori (Greg). He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Carl may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Canada, Musicounts Charity of Canada, or the Musicbox Children's Charity.
