She was predeceased by: her husband John Roy "Jack" MacInnis. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra O'Connell (Jim); her grandson Phillip; her great grandchild Parker Gould; her cousin Nellie Hardy; and her close friend Chrissie MacLeod. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church (40 Cabot St, Sydney, NS B1P4C8).
Memorials may be made to the St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Building Fund or the Our Lady of Fatima Building Fund.
