He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clayton Murray (Jack) and Florence Constance MacKinnon (Connie); his siblings, Ivana, Katherine Elizabeth, Sharon, Olive Bernadette, Aldera, Donald and Brenton; his in-laws, Ananias and Mildred King; and his brothers-in-law, Bill King and Lloyd King.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Jean (King); his children, Dean, Lori (David) and Cori Lynn (John); his siblings, Lyman (Lori) and Donelda; and his sisters-in-law, Edith King (late Frank Cathcart), Carolyn Roper (David) and Doris King. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to First United Church, Louisbourg, or the Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
