With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clyde James Hartling (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Guysborough, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 5, 2021 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon and Hazel Hartling (Borgal); his wife Lorraine (MacKenzie); and his siblings, Thelma Carpenter, Marlene Covin, Lorraine Hubley, Barbara Vancouvering, Albert and Russell.

He is survived by : his children, Donna MacDonald (Robert) of Sydney, Cathy MacKenzie of Sydney, Clyde (Jennifer Garnier) and Donnie (Doris); his close friend Sally Meade; his grandchildren, Nicole (Wes), Tyler, Tasha (Greg), Cindel (Teddy), Kevin, Peter, Donnie, Adric and Julian; and his siblings, Donna Carver (Doug), Westmount, Connie Theriault (Henry), Terry, Winnipeg (Robert), Ray (Wayne) and Besides. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
