He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret MacDonald (Warren) and Hughie Francis MacDonald of Glace Bay; his siblings, Johnnie MacKinnon and Flora English; his siblings-in-law, Shirley, Julia, Gloria, Diana Alleyne, Joseph Worrell and Danny Alleyne; and his close friend Frank Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Julian'Butch'Alleyne (Betty), Lillian Marsman (Todd), Daniel (Laurel), Jimmy (Lori), Noreen MacKinnon (Charles) and Darren (Patti Lynn); his son-in-law Darren Googoo; his grandchildren, Todd (Brittany), Kayla, Brandon, Marissa, Raven, Cassie, Faith, Andrew, Jayden, Ethan, Kael, Dante, Jaxon, Jamison and Connor; his great grandchildren, Dax, Rylee, Claire and Steph; his siblings, Lucy Worrell and Hughie MacDonald (Rose); his sister-in-law Rose Holland; his significant other Elfreda MacDonald (Alleyne); and his daughter Levina MacDonald Googoo.
Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to the Autism Society of Cape Breton.
