With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darren Andrew MacLeod (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Evie MacLeod (MacDonald); his grandparents, Andrew, Nora MacDonald (Burke), Lewis and Jenny MacLeod; his aunt Teresa MacDonald; and his nephew Dillon MacLeod.

He is survived by : his father Graham MacLeod; his sons, DJ Butler (Hannah) and Christopher Butler (Robyn); his brothers, Todd (Carolyn) and Scott (Denise); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Max and Luke; his niece Christine Phalen; his nephews, Michael and Connor MacLeod; and the mother of his children Brenda Butler.

Donations in memory of Darren may be made to a charity of one's choice.
