He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ferguson and Gloria Ferguson; his sister Polly; his parents-in-law, John and Rose Marie Gillis; and his sister-in-law Anne Gillis.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Lee (Danielle), Sascha (David) and Kayla; his grandchildren, Brayden, Ian and Alana; and his brothers, Roy and Sandy (Wanda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre or the Palliative Care Unit through the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.
